PartnerShip Carrier Delivers Holiday Spirit

One of our partners, FedEx, recently participated in Trees for Troops — a program that delivers live Christmas trees to military bases overseas and throughout the U.S. This program is a great way to say thank you and Merry Christmas to those soldiers who can't be home for the holidays. 

Throughout the eight years Trees for Troops has been around, FedEx has helped them travel over 475,000 miles to deliver more than 139,000 trees. This year alone, hundreds of fresh trees were sent out to military members stationed in the Middle East — a welcome gesture for the service men and woman missing the familiar comforts and holiday traditions of home.

In the U.S., FedEx Freight team members spent the first two weeks of December delivering over 17,000 freshly cut trees to more than 60 military bases. Many of these deliveries came with holiday festivities for the troops and their families, helping to keep the Christmas spirit alive.
